Thanks, Rick. I've just been stressing over so many things lately, and I need to just relax and let all of my worries pass me by. I appreciate everything you do for me, encouraging me and inspiring me with a lot of good advise practically every day. I'll never forget the fact that you were such a great friend to me during the time I needed one the most.

Rick, I think you're one of the best friends I have. One of the reasons I wake up with a sense of hope every morning is because I know that great people like you really do exist in this world.

I'm trying my best just to breathe and stay healthy right now, but it's a battle I know I'm going to lose eventually. Some days are better than others, but I feel so much physical and mental pain on a daily basis. I honestly don't know how much more pain I can endure.

These tears I cry right now are tears of sorrow, misery and pain all rolled into one. They gently glide across my eyes and face as I see numerous droplets hit the floor like a broken dream crashing into reality's oblivion.

I've been working hard just to take it one day at a time, trying to pass the time the best way I know how... But I'm falling apart in every possible way imagined -- physically, mentally and spiritually. My faith in God is the only thing keeping me strong and sane right now.

I've had a total of five surgeries in 2008, and I may need a sixth after all. I don't know for certain right now but I'll find out on Friday morning when I see my doctor again. For now, I'm just trying to get through another day with even the smallest of smiles.
